Liberian Businessman Foresees Better Business Climate
A Liberian Businessman, Dewitt Smith, said he foresees better business climate in the country. Mr. Smith who is Chief Executive Officer of a newly established Polar Bear Bar in Monrovia, said he was moved by the business climate in the country and as such; he is motivating other Liberians who are in the diasporas to return home and get involved with investments in the country. Mr. Smith asserted that Liberia is for all Liberians and in view of the facts, Liberians in the diasporas must return home and contribute to the Liberianazation process in the country. The Liberian business tycoon who has been involved into business for more than three decades; both in the United States of America and Liberia, said he is optimistic that Liberia will rise again in the business climate. Mr. Smith also said he is driving within the entertainment center because he feels that there is a need for Liberians’ minds to be relaxed after a hard day of work. The Polar Bear Bar which is affectionately known as Go To Bed Bar, is expected to thrill the public on the eve of Liberia’s 177 Independence Day Thursday, July 25, as a means of pre showcasing itself. He said the bar will be one of Liberia’s best post war entertainment centers which will maintain its standard as well as play varieties of music which will relax the minds of customers after a hard day of work. The newly established Polar Bear Bar is situated near the Old Come and See Bakery on Macdonald Street in Monrovia. Mr. Smith also said Liberia is ‘our country and Liberians must work harder to ensure that Liberia is on par with other nations.’ He congratulated Liberians as they celebrate their 177th Independence Day on July 26.
