The Zeno’s Kickball Team continues its impressive winning run in the Paynesville Sub-Committee League, firmly establishing itself as one of the top contenders in the tournament’s kickball category.
Just over the weekend at the SKD Sports Complex, the team manager Florence Matalay, expressed pride in her team’s outstanding performance.
“We believe in ourselves as a team,” Madam Matalay said, adding: “Today, we proudly sit second on the league table, and we are determined to push even higher. I have full confidence in my squad.”
The Zeno’s Team’s rise has been fueled by strong support from their sponsor, the Zeno’s Group of Investment.
She praised the investment continuous contributions, which include financial aid, scholarships and personal support for the players.
“Their belief in us as a young and ambitious team means everything,” she noted. “We are deeply grateful for their unwavering support, which has helped lift the team to new heights.”
Following another hard-fought victory, the players’ commitment and discipline were highlighted as key to their current success.
“Our players have worked tirelessly. Their dedication and sacrifice are the reasons we are celebrating today’s win,” the female team manager added.
Meanwhile, Paolo Zeno, the team’s chief sponsor, underscored the importance of discipline and respect in achieving success both on and off the field.
“If you want to achieve in life, you must respect and be disciplined toward your leaders,” Zeno said.
“I treat all players equally. The only requirement is commitment. If you miss training, you won’t play no matter how good you are.”
