The government has declared today, Friday, February 27, 2026, as National Yellow Day.
The Day is to honor the arrival of fleets of Yellow Machines (First of its kind in the country), to receive such numbers of Earth Moving Equipment for Developments.
While parading in the commercial district of Red-light, marketers abandoned their sales and chanted: “No more campaign! Our true development giants have arrived!! Bravo to JNB/JKK!!!”
Meanwhile, President Joseph Nyuma Boakai and entourage, on Thursday, February 26, formed part of the array of citizens who welcomed the arrival of the machines in the country.
