The New Drug That Kills Is ‘Sparking Android’

A long-time resident of Soul Clinic, in Paynesville City, has raised alarm over a new and highly dangerous substance known on the streets as “Sparking Android.”

The revelation followed the recent sudden deaths of three young men in the Kemah Town community, in Soul Clinic.

The 48-year-old man, who has lived in the area for nearly 13 years, told journalists that the victims, all drug users, collapsed and died shortly after consuming the deadly drug.

The man, who requested anonymity, identified the substance as ‘sparking android;” saying that “it killed three of our friends; it’s more dangerous than Kush.”

“This drug kills without warning to the user. As soon as you take it, you will drop and die on the spot. It is not like the infamous ‘Kush; it’s far more dangerous,” he lamented.

According to our source, “the sellers don’t warn users; but the drug has been identified as sparking android.”

“Sparking android is being sold for about L$100 a parcel on the market, but it can kill its users without forewarning the victims,” the source said.

Our source revealed that this is not the first time such a tragedy has struck. A month earlier, two others lost their lives to the same drug. The most recent victims have been identified as Kransha (A.K.A.) Carlo, a recent graduate of Brighter Days School; Cherry Doe, described as a newcomer to the illicit trade, and a fourth victim, who has not been identified.

According to the witness, the fatal batch of ‘sparking android’ did not originate in Kemah Town. Instead, it was brought in from Du-Port Road by a motorcyclist (not identified), who shared it with others in a local cemetery where they often gathered to get high.

The community has meanwhile, called for an urgent intervention to identify and stop the distribution of sparking android before more lives are lost.
