Supreme Court Bench Seeks Increase Security Presence

Chief Justice Sie-Nyene Yuoh has called for enhanced security measures to protect the Supreme Court Bench, asserting that the safety of the Judiciary is a growing concern.

In a statement, Justice Yuoh emphasized the need for additional security for all members of the Supreme Court, highlighting the importance of ensuring their protection as they carry out their duties. “I, as Chief Justice, am saying that this entire Supreme Court Bench needs additional security for our protection,” Yuoh remarked.

Her statement underscored the increasing need for safety within Liberia’s highest court, reflecting concerns about threats to the Judiciary’s independence and integrity.
