Students Protest At Phebe Esther Becor College

Tensions flared at the Phebe Esther Becor College of Health Sciences on Tuesday morning, May 27, as scores of students staged a protest demanding urgent reforms in the management of the school and improvements in its learning environment.

Dressed in all-black to signify solidarity and frustration, the students gathered on campus grounds chanting slogans and carrying placards that reflected their growing concerns over “poor semester planning and deteriorating school conditions.”

“We are tired of the way things are being run. The semester is poorly organized, and our learning conditions are unacceptable,” said one student protester, who asked to remain anonymous.

“We are calling for accountability and immediate changes,” the infuriated student declared.

The protest remained peaceful, but firm in tone, with student leaders warning that action would continue if their grievances are not addressed promptly.

As of press time late last night, school authorities had not issued an official statement regarding the protest.

However, sources within the administration said meetings were underway to x-ray the situation.
