Senator Jonathan Boy Charles Sogbie, has enhanced internet connectivity in two of River Gee’s major government-run high schools, bringing a major boost to education in the county. Tweh Jaiklay High School in Fish Town and Gbeapo Multilateral High School in Kaweaken, have both benefited from the senator initiative. Administrators of the two institutions, described the gesture as “unprecedented and a significant step toward advancing academic research and learning goals.” Tweh Jaiklay High School is the oldest government-run institution in Fish Town, the county capital, while Gbeapo Multilateral High School is the oldest in Kaweaken, River Gee’s commercial hub. The initiative provides free and reliable internet access to students, giving them greater opportunities to improve their learning experience and access a wide range of educational resources without restriction. Students at both schools are eagerly anticipating the start of the 2025–2026 academic year, hopeful that the new technology will support their studies and expand opportunities for digital learning. The introduction of WiFi marks a significant step toward modernizing education in the county. Residents have expressed deep gratitude to Sen.
