Representative Gbessie Soni Feika of Grand Cape Mount County District # 3, has announced series of ‘transformative projects.’
The projects, according to Feika, are reshaping the landscape of the district through infrastructure and community enhancement.
“We are making the way, a wave of positive change that will uplift the living standards as well as promotes social cohesion among the locals,” Feika said.
The development initiatives have been characterized by Rep. Feika’s commitment to youth empowerment, improving educational facilities, and enhancing transportation infrastructure.
At the moment, Rep. Feika is spear-heading the groundbreaking of the Bo Waterside Youth Center, a project which aims to provide youth training, education, and recreational activities.
The center, when completed, will become a hub for young people in the area, offering programs that would develop skills and foster personal growth.
Meanwhile, the female lawmaker has modernized the Bewan old Mosque. The mosque was recently renovated to a modern standard, ensuring it meets the desire of the local Muslim community, while enhancing the aesthetic appeal of the area.
“Other ongoing projects are the construction of Tewor Meimassa Town Hall, which aims to create a central meeting space for community gatherings and local governance. Once completed, it will serve as a catalyst for community organization and civic engagement,”
Rep. Feika disclosed.
She said lots of other projects have been successfully completed, including the newly established York Island hand pump, which provides essential clean water to residents, and to the Tienii’s Teacher Quarter to include the
Bombom Town Hall and the Burma Dassin Community Town.
