The office of the Presidential Press Secretary has announced the death of its director for Press, Samuel Zorh.
Mr. Zorh died on Monday, April 21, 2025, at the John F. Kennedy Memorial Hospital having battled a period of illness.
Presidential Press Secretary, Kula Fofana, described Zorh’s death as “very sad and one that the office is struggling to get over.”
She meanwhile expressed her deepest sympathy on behalf of her office to the bereaved family and pray that God will console them in such a difficult time of mourning.
As tributes pull in, the chairperson of the Executive Mansion Press Corps, Godfred Badu Quasah, described the late Zorh as a ‘dedicated and professional servant who served the Presidential Press Secretary office with passion, commitment and strength.’
“He was always ready and willing to work in his role and also as a driver or whatever work you designated him to do,” another workmate reflected.
The late Zorh was a good writer, very patient and a calm man. We will dearly miss him,” said one of his closest colleagues.
“Zorh’s death is so shocking, he was at the just ended Presidential Media Dinner, we talked and he said he was OK, oh! It is so painful, rest well, Mr. Zorh, recounted one of the reporters assigned at the Executive Mansion.
It can be recalled in 2019, Mr. Zorh was the driver of the Executive Mansion vehicle that had the accident along the Monrovia Gbarnga Highway which led to the death of Gabriel Wilson, the former Executive Horn.
