‘’Politically Motivated, Witch Hunt!’’ -Gbarpolu Lawmaker Describes Capitol Building Arson Case

Gbarpolu County District #2 Representative, Luther Collins, has fiercely condemned the ongoing investigation into the recent Capitol building arson, labeling it a politically charged attack targeting select lawmakers.

Speaking to reporters in Rivercess County on June 13, Collins slammed the police for focusing solely on five Lower House members, while ignoring other suspicious events at the Capitol—such as vandalism of the Speaker’s office and the mysterious removal of chairs from legislative chambers.

The lawmaker questioned the credibility of the evidence, highlighting glaring inconsistencies and urging authorities to widen their probe to include all involved parties, including police officials who had control of the Capitol grounds during the unrest.

“How could the gasoline container be both emptied and left near the building?” Collins challenged, demanding solid proof rather than mere testimonies.

Calling for a politically impartial investigation, Collins insisted that the case was being used to settle scores amid a heated speakership crisis. He expressed faith in justice but warned the public to stay vigilant. By: Jacob Bardea/Ablee-Jay TV
