Police Pursues Shooting Suspects

The Liberia National Police (LNP) said it is investigating the shooting of Chief Inspector Sam W. Walker, who was attacked on April 5, 2025, during the evening hours at the New Jerusalem Community Junction, Mount Barclay, outside Monrovia.

Officer Walker sustained a gunshot wound to his left leg during the attack and is currently receiving medical care at a local clinic for his injuries.

So far, the release said, one person has been arrested in connection with this incident and is undergoing questioning.

The investigation has identified one Prince Waylee as one of the suspects involved in the attack.

Additional individuals wanted in connection with this case are Joe Hagan, Joe Hagan Jr., Prince Weayee (aka Chekee), Prince Lord and Patrick Kellen.

Their photographs, police said, are being posted at mayor road intersection and entertainment centers to assist the public in identifying them.

The LNP urges the public to assist in locating these suspects and to report any relevant information to the authorities.
