A strange fight between two police officers over a piece of chicken foot has left one of them seriously injured. The incident happened when Patrolman Elton Bahn questioned Officer Jeremiah Takpor about his greedy eating during a shared meal.
Witnesses say the fight began when Patrolman Bahn grabbed the only chicken foot from Officer Takpor’s hand. This action led to insults and a violent struggle, resulting in Patrolman Bahn suffering a broken spinal cord and other injuries.
He was rushed to the John F. Kennedy Memorial Hospital in Monrovia for treatment. Due to the seriousness of his injuries, police officials are considering sending him to India for further care.
Officer Takpor has been taken to the Liberia National Police headquarters for questioning as an investigation begins.
