Poetic Trumpet

I Don’t Stress Myself

I never overstress myself

I let my Maker fill the gap

I let my Maker fill the blank

I let my Maker perform miracles

I let my Maker do the impossible

I let my Maker fight my tedious battles

What I cannot solve, I consider solved

What I am unable to do, I consider done

The battle I cannot win, I consider won

The problem I cannot fix, I consider  fixed

The mountain I cannot climb, I consider  climbed

The wound I cannot heal, I consider healed

The race I cannot finish, I consider finished

I never overstress myself for anything

I place everything in the hands of God

I seek His intervention against suppression

I seek His redemption in times of distress

I seek His inspiration when I feel empty

I seek His motivation when I feel weak

I seek His divine operation upon my spirit

For His power is greater than human strength

When storms arise, I remain calm

For I know my Maker controls the wind

When darkness appears before my eyes

I remember that His light still shines

When people reject and abandon me

I remember Heaven still remembers me

When life becomes too heavy to carry

I allow God to carry the burden for me

I do not allow fear to rule my heart

Neither do I allow worry to steal my peace

I trust my Maker through every season

Whether in abundance or in hardship

I trust Him in sorrow and in joy

I trust Him in silence and in answers

For the God who created the universe

Knows exactly what is best for me

I never overstress myself about tomorrow

Tomorrow belongs to the Almighty God

The One who feeds the birds of the air

Will surely provide for His children

The One who formed the oceans and stars

Can surely direct my little path

The One who conquered death and darkness

Can surely conquer my daily struggles.

So I continue walking in faith

I continue standing with confidence

I continue praying with expectation

I continue living with hope

For my Maker never disappoints

My Maker never sleeps nor slumbers

He remains my refuge and strength,

Both now and forevermore
