While righteousness is often ignored
I am convinced he sits like a king
Spreading destruction in everything
I am convinced his followers rise with wings
While evil dances and proudly sings
Indeed, the devil seems to rule the earth
Corrupting minds and poisoning worth
His influence stretches from place to place
Leaving sorrow upon the human race
Politically, his agents fight for control
Twisting justice and weakening souls
In business circles, greed takes the throne
While mercy and honesty stand alone
In the musical world, confusion grows
Through careless messages the darkness flows
In strategic places across the land
Many evil powers still make their stand
The liars are beloved by the devil
The blackmailers often serve his level
The wicked-hearted echo his voice
And cruel-minded people make darkness their choice
False pastors preach for selfish gain
Turning holy truth into worldly fame
Blood seekers walk with violent pride
While innocence suffers and cries inside
The world shakes while the devil rules
Nations stumble under wicked tools
Fear fills hearts while evil expands
And violence spreads across many lands
The world remains restless while the devil reigns
Humanity struggles through sorrow and pains
Wars continue, peace grows weak,
And justice becomes difficult to seek
Yet despite the darkness covering the earth,
Goodness and truth still carry worth
For light still shines where love is found
And hope can rise from broken ground
Though evil may appear strong today
Its kingdom shall not forever stay
For truth, righteousness, and God’s light
Will one day overcome the darkest night!!
