Over Hundred Students To Benefit From Scholarship -In District #8

Scores of students across Montserrado County electoral District #8, are poised to benefit from a life changing scholarship initiative. Accordingly, District #8 Representative Prince A. Toles recently launched a groundbreaking initiative aimed at supporting the education of local students in the district. The initiative seeks to provide one hundred and ten (110) scholarships to deserving students, a remarkable effort which is aimed at investing in the future of young minds within the district. Making remake at the program over the weekend in Monrovia, Rep. Toles disclosed that under the initiative, each community within the district will have the opportunity to nominate five students for consideration. According to him, the selection process will among other things include identifying two students from both junior and senior high schools, as well as three students who are pursuing their education at the state-run university of Liberia. The Montserrado County Lawmaker reaffirmed his commitment to empowering the youth through educative related programs, with reference to this local scholarship scheme. “This initiative will provide financial support to students at different educational levels, and we will not only promotes academic excellence but also open doors of opportunities for those eager to further their studies,” he said. For their part, residents of the district explained that the introduction and implementation of the scholarship underscore the importance of investing in quality education and creating avenues for students to pursue their academic aspirations.
