Liberia’s leading GSM Company, Orange Liberia has held it’s first elaborate awards and dinner ceremony in recognizing the great works and services of journalists and Media Institutions across the country.
The Orange 2025 media excellence award ceremony, brought together scores of both rural and urban (print and electric) journalists and Media Institutions, to appreciate them for their commitment and dedication to country and the journalism profession.
The event was aimed at celebrating journalists and Media Institutions for their continues support and partnership over the years.
At the ceremony over the weekend in Monrovia, Orange Human Resource Manager, Cllr. Supu Cole asserted that Orange Liberia value strong partnership that connects communities, as the event was all about recognizing the passion, dedication, as well as the excellent commitment that media practitioners brings to the job.
Cllr. Cole noted that at Orange, they form partnerships, and without the media, the institution would not have been in the position of pushing it’s products, and as well inform the public about it’s programs and promotions.
“We want to congratulate the media community for being a committed and dedicated partner to Orange Liberia,” he said.
“Today, we want to honor the media and celebrate them for their outstanding professionalism as their works continued to make the difference across the country.”
The highlight of the night was the announcement of James Bono of Radio Cape Mount as the Grand Winner of Orange radio personality competition.
He will now enjoy an all expenses-paid trip to Morocco, sponsored by Orange Liberia. Macpherson C. Marbiah writes/0886442881-0777250370
