“Now, I Don’t Know My Position …”

- Deputy Speaker Fallah Tells Diaspora Liberians

Deputy Speaker Thomas Fallah said his support to President Joseph NyumaBoakai is not political but rather for the country’s development as a whole.

Speaking to reporters in Washington DC after day one of the Liberia Diaspora conference, Deputy Speaker Fallah said his interest is to see a change in Liberia void of personal or political interests.

Currently, he told reporters that he does not know his position politically whether in opposition or ruling position but his focus is to see a renewed and transformed Liberia which he  said President Boakai is committed to.

According to him, President Boakai is concerned about developing Liberia, a similar dream he has as such, he remains resolved in supporting the Liberian leader.

” I support President Boakai that’s why you see me here and I will always be around to demonstrate my support for his administration,” he re-emphasized.

Fallah emphasized further noted that the agenda of President Boakai is his goal and he is working to ensure that such is achieved together.

“I am now a new Thomas Fallah, very objective, I am a free thinker and I believe this is the right path to take and I also have my right to support whoever I want to and I am doing that now for President Boakai ,” he reechoed.

Speaking about concerns from Diaspora Liberians relative to the opening of consulate in other parts of the world to include Australia, Sweden and some parts of Europe,  he promised to champion such campaign in the interest of the nation and its people.

“This is a valid point from Diaspora Liberians and we will do our best to push the debate to our colleagues, ” he added.

Even though the Deputy Speaker said his focus is more on his support to President Boakai for the sake of Liberia, void of party politics, political pundits believe that he  has already crossed over to the ruling party except that he is yet to say it openly but action, they believe, speaks louder than words. However,  he maintained that he is a free thinker and has no political link for now; adding, “I  don’t have any position now.”
