Nimba County has unveiled itinerary for the 2025/2026 victory celebration the National County Sport Meet (NCSM).
On the theme: “Celebrating Unity, Resilience and Victory,” the ceremony is scheduled for five consecutive days.
It will begin on Thursday, January 29 to Monday, February 2, 2026.
According to a statement, the exercise followed the county historic triumph at the 2025/2026 NCSM.
Nimba County Sports Steering Committee announced that the five-day county-wide victory celebration is to honor the champions, and share the moment of pride with citizens in every part of the country.
The celebration will feature parades, community engagements, cultural showcases, and official ceremonies spanning from Monrovia to major cities and districts in the county.
On Thursday, January 29, 2026, a Grand Victory Celebration Parade will be held in Monrovia.
It will commence at 10: a.m., bringing together athletes, officials, supporters, and well-wishers.
The parade will travel through major communities in and around Monrovia, allowing residents to celebrate and honor the victorious Nimba County teams.
On Friday, January 30, 2026, the team will depart from Monrovia to Nimba County where the victory convoy will officially depart with celebratory stopovers along the route.
The county-wide victory tour will share the victory with residents in key districts, including a stopover in Flompa, Saclepea, Graie Town and
Tappita.
The five-day celebration, the statement said, reflects the pride, unity, and resilience of the people of Nimba County.
The itinerary is designed to ensure inclusive participation, meaningful community engagement, and a fitting tribute to a historic sporting achievement.
