Bong County Senator Prince Kermue Moye, alongside with his wife, Nancy Moye, over the weekend donated a drum of fuel to the C.B. Dunbar Comprehensive Hospital.
The gesture was to stabilize electricity supply, and safeguard essential medical services.
The hospital, which serves thousands of residents in the county and neighboring areas, depends largely on generator power to run emergency rooms, maternity wards, laboratories and other lifesaving units.
Hospital Administrator Enoch Kermue Darwolo Morris, lauded Sen. Moye and his wife, for their continued and practical support, noting that the gesture reflects a deep understanding of the challenges facing public healthcare institutions.
“Sen. Moye has proven time and again that he listens and responds,” Morris said.
He added: “This fuel will help ensure that our services remain uninterrupted and that patients continue to receive care without fear of power outages.”
Morris further assured the public that the donation will be used strictly for powering the hospital’s generator, reinforcing accountability and transparency.
Health workers and community members described the intervention as a “lifeline, noting that such support directly translates into saved lives and improved service delivery.”
The latest donation adds to Moye’s record of hands-on leadership, and reinforces his image as a public servant committed to strengthen healthcare, and improve the quality of life for the people of Bong County.
