Motorbike Accident Leaves One Dead

A recent tragic motorbike accident left one Lovetee Weah, a 21-year-old resident of Picnicess Community dead.
The shocking incident occurred when the victim was en- route to visit her family members in Picnicess.
The deceased came Po-River, outside Monrovia, and had gone to spend the vacation break with her family in the county.
The accident, which occurred on Saturday, July 12, 2025, between around 12 noon resulted to an outburst of sorrow from family, friends, and residents of Picnicess.
Reports confirmed that three motorbikes were involved in the incident as they traveled through the Topoh Community.
Eyewitness accounts described the situation as ‘chaotic scene’ since the three motorbikes collided under circumstances that are still under investigation by officers of the Liberia national Police assigned in the county.
The late Lovetee Weah suffered severe injuries in the crash. She was quickly transported to the Barclayville Health Center for emergency treatment, but nurses pronounced her dead following ‘frantic efforts’ to contain her injuries.
Meanwhile, local authorities are investigating the circumstances surrounding the accident, while cautioning motorbike riders on the importance of road safety involving the use of helmets.
