Man, 31, Died For Champions League Match Result

A heated football argument between two men over the result of a recent champions league in favor of Arsenal against Real Madrid (3-0) ended in the killing of one Peter Nebo, 31.

The tragic incident unfolded in Grand Kru County following a UEFA Champions League first leg clash that saw Arsenal thrashed Real Madrid 3-0.

The post-match debate turned deadly when Prince Gadeh allegedly killed Peter Nebo, 31, after verbal exchanges about the match that resulted to fist fight.

According to eyewitness reports, the altercation began on the night of April 16, shortly after the game had ended. The two men, who had been watching the match together, began discussing the outcome. Sources say Nebo made a teasing remark at Gadeh’s expense, poking fun at Real Madrid’s heavy defeat.

The situation quickly escalated when Gadeh, visibly angered by Nebo’s comment, allegedly attacked him with a weapon, fatally wounding him. Despite efforts to rush the victim for help to a nearby health facility, Nebo was pronounced dead shortly afterward due to the profuse bleeding.

Local police confirmed the arrest of Prince Gadeh, but said investigations are ongoing to establish the full circumstances surrounding the saddened demise of Nebo.

The tragic incident has shocked the community and raised concerns about rising tensions linked to football fan rivalries.

Authorities are urging the public to remain calm and respectful in sports-related discussions, emphasizing that “a game should never cost a life.”
