LINSU Launches 2026 Quizzing Competition

The Liberia National Student Union (LINSU), has officially launched the 2026 National Quizzing Competition.

The launch is to foster academic excellence and cultivate a spirit of intellectual curiosity among students.

The Competition seeks to engage students from various schools; provide them with a platform to showcase their knowledge and skills.

This initiative is part of LINSU’s broader efforts to promote educational excellence and empower youth through intellectual challenges.

The chief launcher was Liberia Telecommunications Authority Chairperson, Clarence Kortu Massaquoi.

Massaquoi highlighted the importance of digital inclusion and education as vital components of national development.

“We must prepare our youth to learn, pursue careers and leverage technology to create opportunities.”

The competition, he said, stands as a testament to the commitment of various stakeholders to uplift the education system through collaborative efforts.

Assistant Education Minister for Student Personnel Services, Sona Sesay, underscored the significance of partnerships among institutions.

Madam Sesay: “As we embark on this journey of knowledge and competition, let us encourage integrity, respect, and excellence among ourselves. “

Deputy Youth and Sorts Minister for Youth Development, Alphanso Belleh said, the competition seek to academically inspire students.

Mr. Belleh: “This is not just about winning; it’s about building skills and fostering a unified approach to education.”

He urged students to capitalize on the opportunity to enhance their academic abilities and develop a sense of camaraderie.

The competition is set to begin in schools with hopes of igniting a passion for learning and encouraging healthy academic competition among the youth.
