Margibi County District #3 Representative, Ellen Amarkai Attoh Wreh, has dragged her husband- Prince Anything Wreh, to the Monrovia City Court for bigamy. Bigamy is a crime involving marrying someone while still legally married to another person, which is often compared to polygamy. Stipendiary Magistrate, L. Ben Barco, of the Monrovia City Court, ordered the clerk to issue a Writ of Summon, ordering both parties to a conference. “You are hereby re-cited to appear for a conference with Magistrate L. Ben Barco, to be held in his Temple of Justice chamber on Thursday, the 20th of February 2025, at the precise hour 11:30AM,” the court has indicated. The writ said this is: “Based on the complaint filed in by wife Ellen Amarkai Attoh Wreh against you (Prince Anything Wreh) for the alleged crime of bigamy.” According to the Writ of Summon, the conference aimed at amicably resolving this issues; adding, “We anticipate your presence and fullest cooperation in the premises.” Accordingly, following the conference on February 20, 2025, sources alleged that Representative Wreh intends to file for divorce against her husband Wreh, seeking an end to their longstanding marriage.
