By Gareyson Neufville
The Kun Teh Foundation in Teanpo District, River Gee County, has made a significant contribution to the educational development of the Dartuken Community.
The Foundation donated over eight bundles of zinc and several bags of cement to the Dartuken Elementary School.
The materials are intended to support the ongoing renovation of Dartuken Elementary School, transforming it from a long-neglected facility into a modern educational structure.
The donation comes as part of Cllr. Teh’s continued commitment to community development. Locals have widely celebrated the Teh gesture.
Elder Nyenpan Saytue, who spoke on behalf of the community residents, expressed heartfelt appreciation to Cllr. Teh for the gesture, describing it as a “blessing for the people of Dartuken.”
“We are thrilled and deeply grateful to Cllr. Teh for his generosity,” said Elder Saytue.
Earlier, Cllr. Teh has donated bags of cement and bundles of zinc to the public school.
He assured the elders that the support will go a long way in enhancing the school, and create a more conducive learning environment for the students.
Local residents are hopeful that the arrival of the materials will help accelerate the school renovation, a project that has faced prolonged delays due to insufficient resources.
The renovation of Dartuken Elementary School is expected to not only improve the learning conditions for current students, but also attract more children to enroll, thereby boosting educational outcomes in the district.
