The bid of Stephen Mulbah Kerkula, for the 2029 representative seat in Bong County Electoral District #5, has received an overwhelming support.

Meanwhile, a prominent son of the district, Timothy Wolonvah, has declared that the people of the district are fully prepared to stand with Mr. Kerkula for genuine change.

Wolonvah made the promised during a community engagement.

He said the rise of Kerkula is not surprising, because the district has long awaited a leader, who is development-driven, people-centered, and committed to the real needs of the residents.

“Kerkula has demonstrated a level of humility, and dedication that distinguishes him from other political actors. He has been with us before politics; has worked with our young people; supported our schools, and remained engaged with our communities. This is the type of leader District #5 needs.”

Wolonva said, for too long, the district has suffered from neglected roads, abandoned community projects, and leadership that does not reflect the aspirations of the people.

He believes Mr. Kerkula represents a new era of accountability and development.

Wolonvah also highlighted the strong youth movement rising behind Mr. Kerkula.

“Our young people are tired of empty promises. They want a leader, who sees them, hears them, and walks with them. Kerkula is that leader. The youth trust him, because he has always supported their initiatives and community empowerments.”

Women groups, according to Wolonvah, have also rallied behind Mr. Kerkula, because of his consistent support for small business women, and his inclusive leadership style.

“The women of District #5 are ready. They say Kerkula is the only one who respects their role in society and supports their dreams.”

Wolonvah predicted that the 2029 election in District #5 will be a turning point, and the people will choose Mr. Kerkula, because he represents hope, unity, progress, and genuine service.

“District #5 deserves better, and with Stephen Mulbah Kerkula, we are finally seeing the leader we have been praying for. Our time has come.”
