The Deputy Ministry of State for Presidential Affairs in charge of Administration, Bill McGill Jones, has responded to mounting public speculation about his possible political ambitions in Bong County.
Jones spoke of his dedication remaining centered on serving the people.
He made the remarks during a community engagement at the Bong Athletic and Social Intellectual Center in Gbarnga, where he spoke about his personal experiences and ongoing commitment to assist the locals.
Jones also spoke of the challenges he has faced throughout his life, which continue to inspire his passion for helping those in need and contributing to the welfare of ordinary Liberians.
He also acknowledged widespread discussions linking his name to a possible bid for representative, noting that various districts, including Suakoko and District #3, have been repeatedly mentioned in public conversations.
Though, he did not confirm any political plans, Jones said the growing attention surrounding his name demonstrates the level of public interest generated by his work and community involvement.
He said, his priority remains supporting development initiatives, and providing assistance to citizens regardless of political discussions surrounding him.
Jones further assured residents that he will continue reaching out to communities and contributing to programs that will improve the lives of young people, and vulnerable citizens throughout the county.
The gathering brought together youth representatives, community leaders, and local residents, many of whom applauded the Mr. Jones for his continued “humanitarian efforts” and public engagement.
