JFK Lacks CT scan Equipment?

Several individuals who have carry patients at the John K Kennedy Hospital (JKF) has reported that (JFK) Medical Center don’t have CT scan to perform such medical scan also due to a lack of necessary equipment.  Those individuals who refused to disclose their names had initially brought their patients to JFK for the procedure, but were informed by  nurses that the facility doesn’t  have a functioning CT scan machine. Thy expressed their disappointment, citing the situation as disheartening for what is considered one of the largest government-run medical facilities in the area. CT scan is a computed tomography scan. CT scan formerly called computed axial tomography scan or CAT scan is a medical imaging technique used to obtain detailed internal images of the body. The personnel that perform CT scans are called radiographers or radiology technologists. CT scans are crucial for diagnosing and monitoring various medical conditions. They provide detailed images of internal structures, helping to identify issues like tumors, internal injuries, and infections. The absence of a CT scan at John F. Kennedy Medical Canter represents a critical gap in essential medical services. CT scans are vital for rapid diagnosis in emergencies, enabling timely treatment for conditions such as strokes, trauma, and cancers. Without this technology, healthcare providers face significant challenges in delivering effective care, potentially jeopardizing patient outcomes.
