Having served as vice president under the erstwhile government of the Congress for Democratic Change (CDC), Jewel Howard-Taylor, is again rallying opposition support to unseat the governing Unity Party in the 2029 general and presidential elections.
The former female VP believes that “unseating an incumbent government is difficult, but not impossible.”
She said with such united forces, the opposition can achieve such political agenda.
“We need to work together; join ideas to make this political dream a reality,” The former First Lady re-emphasized.
Madam Taylor, a member of the opposition, promised to remain so very strong to work tirelessly to ensure that the current government does not get re-elected.
She told reporters that the alleged under performance by the current government is a “good opportunity that we can capitalize on to regain state power in 2029.”
She said the increased in hardships couple with the pending tax increment are reasons for the rejection of the Unity Party government at the 2029 polls.
After being quiet for about a year, Jewel took to the media with latest revelation of the current government alleged failure to give her entitled benefits., a claim government has termed as a “big lies.”
With nearly one year and four months in power, members of the opposition have already started galvanizing support to win voters to their camp.
