The Independent Fundamental Baptist Church is set to construct a multi-purpose conference Hall

Valued at several thousand United States dollar, the facility will include library, playground, and other essential services.

It aims at reducing the time and effort of the church having its programs, and other activities in locations far from the edifice whenever they want to have programs.

The Independent Fundamental Baptist Church in Liberia, was established in 1821, with the arrival of Lott Carey, who became a key figure in spreading the faith founded by the Providence Baptist Church in Monrovia, which marked the beginning of Baptist work in the country.

The disclosure was made on Monday, December 29, 2025, in an interview with this newspaper on the Campus of the Jake Memorial Baptist College.

Reverend Jehoshaphat’s Dogolea, a member of the planning committee, said, the Conference Hall is designed to enhance the Independent Fundamental Baptist Churches’ operations, and provide critical resources for both its members in the country and local communities.

In addition, Rev. Dogolea said, the Conference Hall will also be used to engage in discussions with the all members of the Independent Fundamental Baptist Churches across the country, the government, and other stakeholders about peace and development.

Rev. Dogolea said, the Conference Hall, which will be located in the Mount Barclay Community, will be on five acres of land.

In another development, Rev. Dogolea, has disclosed that the Independent Baptist Church will end it weeklong Conference today, Tuesday, December 30, 2025.

He said the weeklong conference brought together over 50 churches under the Independent Baptist church across the country.

They were teaching, praying and undertaking other activities for the growth and development for the church.
