High-Grade Marijuana Confiscated In Greenville – Suspect Jailed By : Darious Dapae/ Sinoe County

The Liberia Drug Enforcement Agency (LDEA) Sinoe County Detachment has confirmed the arrest of a 33-year-old woman following a major drug bust in Greenville City early Sunday morning.

About 6:45 AM on May 11, 2025, a team of LDEA officers led by Special Agent Daniel Songor, Chief of Operations, executed a successful search and seizure operation at the residence of Ms. Agnes Toe, a member of the Kru tribe, residing in the Seabah Community.

During the operation, officers discovered 37 plates of high-grade marijuana, with an estimated street value of $3,700 USD, equivalent to L$703,000 Liberian dollars. The illicit drugs were confiscated as evidence.

Ms. Toe was immediately arrested and taken to the LDEA Headquarters in Greenville, where she is currently undergoing investigation. Authorities say she will be formally charged and forwarded to court for a speedy trial in accordance with the law.

Speaking to the media, Special Agent Grade-3 Milton K. Howard, Commander of the LDEA Sinoe County Detachment, reaffirmed the agency’s commitment to fighting drug-related crimes. He stated, “We will leave no stone unturned in exercising our duties to ensure a drug-free Sinoe.”

Authorities have emphasized the importance of community cooperation in combating the illegal drug trade and are urging residents to report any suspicious activities to the LDEA.
