The Government of Liberia is reaffirming its commitment to student welfare and education in Grand Kru County by actively supporting the school feeding initiative through the Grand Kru County School System.

This program not only provides nutritious meals to students but also encourages consistent school attendance and fosters conducive learning environment.

School authorities are instrumental in managing the program on the ground, while students remain the central focus, benefiting directly from the government’s investment in their education and well-being.

Schools such as George Toe Washington Elementary and Thomas K. F. Seedee Elementary continue to reap the benefits, with students reporting improved concentration, energy, and motivation for learning.

Officials of the County School System emphasized that the initiative is part of government broader strategy to support education, reduce barriers to learning, and strengthen the partnership between the government, students, and school authorities.

Through this sustained effort, the Government of Liberia is sending a clear message that student welfare is a top priority, and that investing in children today lays the foundation for a stronger and more educated tomorrow in Grand Kru County.
