Gasoline Drum Explosion Injures 2

Two men were seriously injured following a gasoline drum explosion that occurred at about 9:30 a.m. on Monday, January 19, 2026.

The incident was reported in Government Camp, Bokon Jeadea District #2, Sinoe County.

The victims have been identified as Henry M. Threason, Jr., 43, and Franklin Dean, 42.

Both the victims were reportedly using the affected house as a storage.

According to eyewitnesses, the explosion led to fire that completely burned the business house.

An ambulance that later arrived at the scene, transported the affected individuals to Greenville for urgent medical attention.

Local authorities and community members, have expressed concern over the incident.

They have called for increased safety measures in the handling and storage of flammable materials, especially in residential and business areas.

Investigations are expected to determine the exact cause of the explosion.
