G/Kru Prepares For Youth Minister’s Visit

Grand Kru County has intensified preparations for the scheduled visit of the Minister of Youth and Sports, Corlina Wonkerleh Kruah.

The visit of Minister Kruah is scheduled for Wednesday, April 8, 2026.

Her coming follows a major stakeholders’ meeting led by the County Youth and Sports Coordinator Nicholas Wuo.

The meeting, held in Barclayville on Sunday, April 5, brought together several youth representatives and local stakeholders.

They discussed plans surrounding the Minister Kruah’s arrival through the Bahwin main entry point to the county.

According to Wuo, the visit is expected to provide an important platform for dialogue between the Ministry and the county’s youthful population.

He said, when she arrived, Minister Kruah will engage directly with youth groups, sports administrators, and other stakeholders on matters affecting youth empowerment and sports advancement.

The meeting also focused on coordination efforts to ensure a successful reception and meaningful discussions during her stay.

Local youth leaders, who attended the gathering said the visit comes at a crucial time when many young people are seeking stronger government support for education, employment, leadership opportunities, and sports facilities.

Minister Kruah engagement is expected to highlight government’s commitment to strengthen youth participation and community development.
