The Grand Kru County Police Detachment has expressed sincere appreciation to the leadership of the Liberia National Police (LNP) and the government for providing them with three additional motorbikes.
The motorbikes are to enhance security operations in the county.
The Detachment Commander, Clement Barllat, described the support as “timely and impactful.”
Barllat said, the motorbikes, along with a recently assigned patrol vehicle, will significantly improve police operations in every part of the county.
He meanwhile, extended special thanks to Inspector General of Police Gregory O. W. Coleman, for his strong leadership, continuous advocacy, and commitment to strengthen police detachments nationwide.
He acknowledged Coleman’s role in ensuring that Grand Kru County receives adequate logistical support to effectively carry out law enforcement duties.
Barllat also expressed gratitude to the County Superintendent for consistently engaging the LNP, advocating for improved mobility and operational capacity.
The three motorbikes were officially received on January 22, 2026, through the LNP administration and operational management, to enhance police operations and service delivery throughout the county.
Police in the county have reaffirmed their commitment to utilize the logistics responsibly in the interest of peace, security and public safety.
