Methodist Pastor, 3 Others Arrested

In Grand Kru County, authorities have arrested four individuals from Jloh District.

The four suspects, including a Methodist Church Pastor, where arrested in connection with the alleged murder of Superintendent Robert Karpeh, according to sources.

Sansum Wiah, a son of Jloh Statutory District, confirmed the report, and identified the accused as Francis Wesseh, a former Development Superintendent; Dennis Swen, Administrative Assistant to the District Superintendent; Jerome Jeppoe, Jr., an inspector from Betu City and Nicholas Tiawloh, a pastor assigned to Betu Methodist Church.

In his write-up on Grand Kru related chatrooms, Waih said the arrest of the men followed ongoing investigations into the circumstances surrounding Superintendent Karpeh’s death.

The four suspects were reportedly transferred to authorities for further questioning as part of efforts to establish their alleged roles in the death of Karpeh.

Officials have not yet released additional detail regarding the nature of the allegations or the progress of the ongoing investigation.
