The senior pastor of the Faith In-Christ Pentecostal Church in the Borough of New Kru Town, has disclosed how the Church was reroofing its edifice.
Reverend Benedict Dargbeh made the disclosure on Sunday, November 9, 2025, when he delivered his first Sunday sermon before a jubilant congregation.
He said the project will cost around US$25,000, and the said amount will be raised by members of the Church, partners and some of those who reside in the United States and other parts of the world.
Dargbeh spoke on the theme: “Let Us Rebuild the House of God,” with text taking from Haggai 11:1-10.
He told his members to refrain from activities that have the potential to create disunity in the Church.
“It is very bad for those who called themselves Christians to worship God in a dilapidated building, while they are living in modern homes.”
Rev. Dargbeh also called on his members to design programs that will empower the administration to achieve its goal.
“We will not expect other denominations to rebuild the Church, except its members unite and pray for the good of the Church,” he said.
