ELWA Hospital CSA Pay System Embraced

The Civil Service Agency (CSA), recent enrolment of employees of the ELWA Hospital into government’s centralized payroll system has been welcomed.

The initiative,  is to ensure merit and efficiency in the public service, is part of the continued fulfillment in the implementation of the “health and sanitation” pillar of the government’s ARREST Agenda for Inclusive Development, particularly the national vision to expand access to quality healthcare, improve public sector efficiency, and enhance the welfare of frontline workers.

The successful onboarding of ELWA onto the government’s centralized payroll, according to a release, was through the collaboration of the Ministry of Health (MoH) and the CSA.

It demonstrates Pres. Boakai’s intention of reinforcing confidence among healthcare professionals and strengthen service delivery in healthcare sector.

Through the endeavor, a total of 304 employees of ELWA  have been processed and paid on the government payroll at a total dollar value of US$104,574.36, with provision also been made for the retroactive payment of ELWA hospital employees for the month of March, 2026.

Meanwhile, Pres. Boakai has lauded the CSA, and MoH and Ministry of Finance for their “remarkable effort in implementing the scheme.”

Boakai expressed the hope that the program will go a long way in spreading the benefits of government’s support to the health sector.

CSA, in collaboration with MFDP, has taken the necessary administrative measures to ensure that all eligible employees receive their outstanding entitlements accordingly.
