“Don’t Prioritize Foreigners Over Yourself”
-Urges Bishop Suku
The Founder and Bishop of the Christian Fellowship Ministries International, located in Zubah Town, Paynesville, has cautioned Liberians not to prioritize foreigners over themselves in whatever they do.
Bishop Pah K. Suku, has two Doctoral Degrees, four Masters and a BSC in Theology, Education and Public Administration, and has authored more than four books.
He gave the warning recently on a local radio talk show in Monrovia.
Bishop Suku: “Those who studied, and have the rightful degree in Management of Science, are good managers and great leaders. They have an insight and oversight when it comes to the job market.”
He said it is not appropriate for some Liberians to give too much opportunities to foreigners, instead of their own citizens, something which, he said, is “unacceptable and a disservice to the country.”
He described Liberians as people who conducts themselves well, and are law-abiding whenever they travel to other countries.
“More alike, the system is being corrupt in the country making citizens to live in adject poverty, because of some of the bad clauses within the constitution, which is not in the interest of the people,” the Clergyman said.
Dr. Suku has therefore called on the government to rewrite the constitution by changing some of the bad clauses, and replace them with something that will meet and address the needs of Liberians.
He observed that there are few people in government that are suspected of amassing wealth and getting rich over night at the expense of the struggling masses, “because of some bad clauses that are in the constitution.”
Suku therefore wants those ‘corrupt officials’ in government to be dismissed from their respective positions, and send to court, and if found guilty, they should be jailed for bad leadership.
“Good managers are people who are well trained in managerial positions, honest and they are not in the business of receiving bribes or kickbacks from clients,” said Bishop Suku.
He said good managers are unifiers, dedicated and committed servants of the people in delivering public services at all times, as such, they do not accept bribes, kickbacks or whatever, and government officials, who studied managerial of science should fellow in said footstep, and not be the ones corrupting the system.
