Custom Broker President Donates LRD300K To Students

The President of the Custom Broker Association of Liberia has contributed 300,000LRD towards the education of poor students residing in slum communities across Monrovia.

One Hundred Fifty Thousand of the amounts was given to two primary schools; the Kid Foundation Academy at Slipway received 100,000.00LRD while 50,000.00LRD went to the Christ Foundation Preparatory School located in District 14.

The rest of the money was donated to a scholarship scheme organized by Montserrado County Electoral District 14, Representative Kerkula Kamara, to assist at least 350 deserving student’s return to school this academy year.

The Veteran Custom Broker said his donation has no political under tune but to make education accessible to children whose parents who cannot afford to underwrite the cost of their children education.

James Hinneh told cheering parents at the launch of the scholarship fund drive held in Clara Town last Saturday, that education is the only inheritance parent can leave with children when they are dead and gone.

He used the occasion to commend Representative Kamara for showing interest in educating children in his district and Liberia as a whole.

The Custom Broker Boss pointed out that the launched of the scholarship fund drive just ahead of the re-opening of schools for the 2024/2025 academic year,m manifest the Lawmaker resounding desire to make learning available to all irrespective of financial strength.

Mr. Hinneh further indicated that by undertaking the initiative, Representative Kerkula Kamara has shown to the world that he is capable of ably representing his people in the House of Representative and called on District residents to stand by him in accomplishing his goal.

Mr. James Hinneh is a respected union leader who made it to the top through honesty, justice and devotion to the cause of the poor.

Hinneh also enjoys wide range of support in the Custom Broker Association for fulfilling his election promise to complete and dedicate a decent Headquarters for the association. No wonder he is called “Talk and Do” by Supporters.
