Lofa County Senator Momo T. Cyrus has vowed to champion a bill in the Liberian Senate for Liberia to have Cultural and Traditional Holiday. The Lofa County lawmaker said he will work tirelessly with his fellow enators in the House in making sure that the bill is passed. Senator Cyrus stated that it is vital for the country to have cultural and traditional holiday. The Lofa County lawmaker made the statement on National Flag Day August 24, 2024 at celebration under the auspices of Kekura Kamara held in Paynesville GSA Road outside Monrovia. Senator Cyrus further that the Cultural and Traditional Holiday will be intended to showcase the Cultural and Traditional Heritage of the country. He informed the gathering that any country without a Cultural and Traditional adding that country will not go no were. The Lofa County lawmaker told the gathering that Liberia is a great country of Cultural and Traditional. Senator Cyrus stressed the need for the Cultural and Traditional Heritage be promoted. According to him, Liberia is a country with great talents. The Lofa County Lawmaker welcomed the appointment of Kekural M. Kamara as Liberia New Arts and Cultural Ambassador. Senator Cyrus stated that Ambassador Kamara has a great task ahead of him to lift up the Cultural Heritage to a better level. He stated that he trust the ability of ambassador Kamara for the position. The Lofa County lawmaker reaffirmed his commitment to work with ambassador Kamara to move the Cultural Heritage of the country forward.
