Costa Apologizes To Weah Over Private Jet Criticism

Outspoken talk- show host and political commentator Henry Costa has publicly apologized  to former President George Weah for what he now calls unjust criticism over the use of private jets.

Speaking during a live Facebook podcast on Friday evening, Costa said he deeply regrets attacking Weah for choosing private air travel while in office. He acknowledged that, given the challenges and security risks of flying commercial, Weah’s decision was justified.

“I was wrong, President Weah was right!” Costa declared. “Flying private isn’t a luxury; it’s a necessity for a sitting president. I regret ever criticizing him for that.”

He also backed ANC Political Leader Alexander Cummings’ endorsement of Boakai’s private jet use, saying it reflects the practical realities of presidential responsibilities.

“I fully support Cummings’ stance. The presidency demands efficiency, safety, and timeliness. Flying private is often the only viable option,” Costa said. DN NEWS
