Counselor Kunkunyon Wleh The, has donated 100 bags of cement to Katoken High School in Chedepo Jarkaken, River Gee County.

Teh’s gesture is to support the school’s ongoing infrastructure and renovations.

The donation, made on Thursday, July 3, followed an appeal from the principal, who said, the institution needed construction materials to complete classrooms and other facilities that have been stalled due to limited resources.

While presenting the cement to the administration, Cllr. Teh described education as a top priority for him and the future county.

“Investing in our schools is investing in the future of our county. When we improve learning facilities, we create an environment where our children can compete with their peers.”

Teh urged the students to take their studies seriously and improved the facilities responsibly.

“The cement is here, but your discipline, hard work, and commitment will determine how far this school goes.”

The administration expressed gratitude for the gesture.

Community members who gathered for the presentation, welcomed Cllr. Teh’s intervention.

Several elders described it as a “meaningful step” to improve the educational facilities.
