In a shocking revelation, Senator Saah Joseph has alleged that his house was set on fire as a direct consequence of his electoral success, claiming he received more write-in votes than former President George Weah during the recent elections.

Speaking on Spoon Talk over the weekend Senator Joseph expressed his concerns over the rising political tensions in the country.

“My house was put on fire because I obtained more votes in Montserrado than Ex-President Weah.” He accused supporters of the former president of orchestrating the attack as a means to intimidate and silence dissenting voices within the political landscape.

The senator’s home was reportedly engulfed in flames, leading to significant damage but, fortunately, no injuries. Local authorities have launched an investigation into the incident, and firefighters managed to control the blaze before it spread to neighboring properties.

In light of the arson, Joseph called for unity and urged the government to ensure the safety of all citizens, regardless of their political affiliations. “This act of violence is not just an attack on my home; it is an attack on my life he emphasized.
