CDC M/ship Drive Goes To Bong

By Samuel Flomo, Jr.

The opposition Congress for Democratic Change (CDC) has officially launched a major Identification Card registration in Gbarnga, Bong County.

The event was associated with due payment exercise, which drew scores of supporters and partisans from all parts of the county.

The exercise forms part of the Party’s ongoing effort to strengthen its grassroots structures, improve membership coordination, and prepare for future political activities.

The ceremony brought together members and supporters of the party, popularly known as CDCians, who gathered in large numbers to participate in the registration process and reaffirm their commitment to the party.

Bong County CDC Chairman, James T. Zuannah, said, the initiative is to recruit new members while capturing their information into the party’s official database.

The exercise, Zuannah said, will improve record-keeping within the party, and ensure that all registered members are properly identified and documented.

He said, the registration process is part of a broader reorganization effort to strengthen CDC’s presence and operational structures throughout the county.

“This exercise will help us maintain an updated membership roll, and build a stronger party structure at the grassroots level.”

He urged all supporters in the county to obtain their identification cards and pay their membership dues.

By that, all partisans will increase members’ involvement in party activities and decision-making processes.

Zuannah further emphasized that a well-organized membership base remains essential to the growth and future success of the CDC.

Several supporters who attended the launch welcomed the initiative. They described it as a “positive step to revitalize the party’s influence in Bong.

Some partisans expressed confidence that the exercise will help reconnect members, strengthen unity, and boost mobilization efforts.

The atmosphere at the event was marked by excitement and renewed energy among CDCians, many of whom pledged their continued support to the party as it works to expand and reorganize its structures.

Party officials disclosed that the ID card registration and dues payment exercise will continue in various districts and communities in the coming weeks.
