The C.B. Dunbar Comprehensive Hospital has received a generous donation of crucial medical supplies from the Joseph Nyumah Boakai (JNB) Foundation.

Key among the items donated were an incubator and hand sanitizer machines essential for the hospital’s operations.

During the presentation on May 29, 2025 in Gbarnga, Henry Saah Flanpor,  Deputy Executive Director of the JNB Foundation, told  journalists that the donation came about after discussions with Bong County’s Superintendent and the hospital’s administration expressing urgent need of medical supplies to serve the health needs the facility’s catchment population.

Mr. Flanpor emphasized that the JNB Foundation is serious about backing the healthcare sector, especially those facilities in rural areas that are doing important work for the community.

He noted that it is not just about providing supplies; it’s about making sure people in underserved areas have access to the care they need.

Superintendent Loleyah Norris received the supplies on behalf of the county and expressed a heartfelt thank you to the JNB Foundation.

She urged them to keep the support coming, especially as the hospital continues to face challenges. She pointed out that supplies like the incubator are critical for saving lives, showing just how important this support is.

The event drew a crowd of important health figures, including Dr. Moses Beyan, the Medical Director at C.B. Dunbar Hospital; Dr. Jefferson Sibley, the Bong County Health Officer; and the hospital’s Administrator, Mr. Enoch Kermue Darwolo Morris Sr.

Their participation signals the collaborative efforts within the health community to ensure that C.B. Dunbar Hospital can serve its patients effectively.

The donation is a step toward strengthening healthcare services for the people in Bong County and showcases how effective partnerships can lead to meaningful support for vital institutions.
