The European Union-supported “Light Up South East” program, has launched a public awareness campaign in Buchanan City, Grand Bassa County.
The installation of electricity poles was witnessed by residents in incitement in all communities.
The engagement held at the pavilion and organized by the “In profile Daily”, Incorporation brought together technical experts; local county officials; zone leaders, and students.
They gathered with high level of encouragement to learn about the project and its impact.
Each one of the speakers highlighted the dangers of illegal electricity connections.
They also spoke of safe household wiring practices, and heartened community responsibility.
Residents were also guided on the proper steps to take before being connected to the power supply, ensuring safety and sustainability as Buchanan moves closer to reliable electricity access.
