Bong County resident Edward Kollie has issued a scathing criticism of Superintendent Loleyah Hawa Norris, describing her so-called 100 Days Development Agenda as a complete disaster, filled with deceit, waste, and incompetence.
Kollie said the much-trumpeted development plan has turned out to be nothing more than a publicity stunt; a hollow campaign crafted to deceive the people of Bong County into believing that progress was being made.
He emphasized that, despite a reported US$302,000 allocation for emergency development projects, the county’s major public facilities remain in a shameful and collapsing state.
According to him, the Superintendent’s Compound, the Gbarnga Administration Building, and the County Field, all of which were supposed to receive urgent attention now lie in total ruin, symbolizing the failure and negligence of Madam Norris’ leadership.
He said the situation paints a painful picture of wasteful spending and a lack of genuine care for the county’s growth.
Kollie accused the Superintendent’s media team of deliberately covering up the truth by flooding social media with repeated photos of the newly constructed Kollie-ta-Wolah School Project, while refusing to show the current disgraceful conditions of other key public infrastructures.
He said such manipulation is a desperate attempt to mislead citizens and hide the reality of failure under Madam Norris’ administration.
He described the Superintendent’s attitude as self-centered and arrogant, pointing out that while taxpayers’ money is being mismanaged, Madam Norris prefers to live in a rented private home instead of occupying the official government-funded residence provided for her comfort and security.
Kollie said this behavior clearly demonstrates a lack of accountability and a deep disregard for the people of Bong County.
He maintained that the county remains stagnant because public officials like Madam Norris use leadership as a means of personal enrichment, rather than a platform to serve.
He noted that Bong County’s future is being held hostage by deceptive leadership and reckless spending, warning that if such waste and dishonesty continue, the county will remain backward while its leaders thrive on false public relations and empty promises.
Meanwhile, all efforts to contact the Superintendent have proven fruitless, as she continues to cancel calls and refuses to respond to text messages.
