Mr. David Gbenequelleh has launched a powerful and uncompromising attack against Representative James Kolleh, accusing the District #2 lawmaker of completely abandoning his people and leaving the district in what he described as a state of leadership collapse.

Appearing on a local radio station in Gbarnga, Mr. Gbenequelleh asserted that Rep. Kolleh has failed every basic expectation of representation, stating that the lawmaker has shown no visibility, no commitment, and no genuine interest in the wellbeing of his district.

According to him, the district has been left to struggle without support, direction, or oversight from the person elected to champion its development.

Mr. Gbenequelleh described the district’s condition as alarming, pointing to deteriorating road networks, stalled community projects, and the absence of any meaningful legislative engagement from Rep. Kolleh.

He emphasized that the lawmaker has distanced himself from key community matters an action he believes has exposed residents to unnecessary hardship.

He further argued that the representative has created a leadership vacuum by failing to engage with citizens, failing to attend to community crises, and failing to push for development initiatives at the national level.

Mr. Gbenequelleh insisted that the district has been left without direction because the lawmaker has refused to take responsibility for the mandate given to him.

During his radio appearance, Mr. Gbenequelleh maintained that Rep. Kolleh’s inability to account for his stewardship is a major concern that the people of District #2 can no longer ignore.

He stressed that communities continue to suffer because the lawmaker has not delivered on promises made, nor has he presented any concrete development agenda since assuming office.

He argued that Rep. Kolleh’s absence in both the district and national discussions proves that the lawmaker has disconnected himself from the people and the issues that matter most.

Mr. Gbenequelleh warned that such  pattern of neglect cannot continue if the district hopes to experience progress and stability.

Mr. Gbenequelleh noted that the people of District #2 deserve better leadership that is visible, accountable, and committed to the needs of its citizens.

He urged residents to remain vigilant and demand responsibility from those who hold public office, especially from a representative who, according to him, has chosen to turn his back on the district.

In a phone call placed to Representative James Kolleh by this paper, he responded, “I’m not thinking about that David Gbenequelleh matter. My focus right now is on doing the work of the Liberian people.’”
