Boakai Extends Condolences To Fallen Former Senator’s Family

President Joseph Nyuma Boakai, Sr., has extended heartfelt condolences to the family, friends, and colleagues of the late former Senator Sumo G. Kupee of Lofa County, who passed away recently.

Senator Kupee was a dedicated public servant whose commitment to the people of Lofa County and Liberia was unwavering.

His tenure in the Senate was marked by tireless advocacy for development and progress, and his legacy will continue to inspire those committed to public service.

In the Senate he was a frontline advocate for many key issues notably, Dual Citizenship and Out-of-Country Voting by Liberians who live in other parts of the globe in sizable numbers.

President Boakai expressed his sincere sympathy to the family during this difficult time and called upon the nation to remember the life, legacy and contributions of Senator Kupee.

He conveyed this message earlier today when he visited the residence of the fallen former Senator in the Banjor Community in Brewerville to console the Widow, Mrs. Marian Kupee, and the family.
