By John Dennis Weah

One of the major roads connecting the Townships of Louisiana to Johnsonville has become impassable to the extent that not even a motorbike can pass through.

Locals have meanwhile, seek government’s intervention to address the road deadlock.

The community chairman, Jefferson Hoggard, told the In Profile Daily newspaper that the deplorable condition of the road linking Gbovee Community in Sasstown-Louisina up to T-Junction will soon be cut-off due to the downpour, if nothing is done to rescue the situation.

The road becoming is said to be more difficult and impossible light duty vehicles and pedestrians in recent days.

Hoggard accused Representative Ruggie Barry of District #1 of not focusing on the development of Sasstown; a place she hailed from.

Furthermore, he said, Madam Barry is not living in District #1 to see some of the constraints, instead she’s moved in District #17 of Montserrado County.

Though, Rep. Barry has not responded to the many accusations, Hoggard added: “The representative would have understood our people’s problems has she lobbied to address the situation, instead, she abandoned the district shortly she was elected.”

Louisiana Township is divided into three walls including Sasstown, Fendell and central Louisiana.
